All news- Research Council Confirms First Round of Funded Programmes
Six programmes and 38 awards worth 25,000,000 credits in total were confirmed on establishment, consolidating research previously funded separately by member organisations under a single register.
- Research Council Publishes Standards of Research Integrity
Seven standards of research integrity apply from today to all research funded by the Council. An Integrity Office receives concerns and a published procedure governs how they are assessed and investigated.
- Research Council Announces Open Round 2026 Funding Call
The Council's first open funding call opens on 21 September 2026 and closes on 13 November 2026, with up to 12,000,000 credits available across five programmes. A separate fellowship call opens on 5 October 2026.
About the Council
The Research Council of the Velocity Interoperability Network is responsible for research programmes and research integrity across the Velocity Interoperability Network.
It funds research carried out by member organisations, administers the awards made under its programmes, requires the results of funded research to be openly available, and sets and upholds the standards of research integrity that apply to every researcher it funds.
